Pet Cremations, LLC — (812) 900-1888
Pet Cremations has been part of this corner of Indiana for more than 30 years. For most of that time it was run by its founder, and it earned something that can't be bought: the trust of the area's veterinary clinics, funeral homes, and families — many of whom have come back, pet after pet, over decades.
In February 2026, the business passed to our family. We're Hiram and Tashina Tame. We live in the Columbus area, we have six children, and we own and run this business ourselves. Tashina handles the day-to-day work — the calls, the pickups, the returns. When you phone (812) 900-1888, you're reaching our family, not a dispatch center in another state.
We bought this business because the work matters and because it was already done well. Our intent is simple: keep the same careful service local families have relied on for thirty years, and be worthy of the trust that comes with being handed someone's pet.
What hasn't changed: private cremation, done one pet at a time. Ashes home within 48 business hours. Fair prices, stated plainly.
What we're working on: making it easier to reach us — this website, a request form that works at any hour, and clearer information for the clinics and funeral homes we serve — so the next thirty years start the way the first thirty were earned: one family at a time.
If you're a family facing this now, we're sorry for what brings you here — and we're here. Call (812) 900-1888, or send the request form and we'll call you.
If you're a clinic or funeral home, see For Veterinary Clinics & Funeral Homes — or just call. We'd be glad to talk.
